The User Settings pages are some of the most useful on Gecko. From managing your password to form permissions and Capture app session monitoring - this guide will run you through this often overlooked area of Gecko.

Begin by clicking your name in the top-right corner of Gecko and selecting User Settings from the dropdown menu:

This will take you to your settings page for your personal account. If you wish to amend the settings for any other user, navigate to Settings > Users and click the user you'd like to edit. Note: only users with specific permissions are able to edit other users.

The options for User Settings are divided across two tabs:

  • Settings - here you're able to change your name, email, telephone, position and user group. It's worth noting that all of the aforementioned values are template tag-able. ¬†GeckoTalk users are able to configure their default calling capabilities.¬†
  • Forms - this tab allows you to manage which active/ archived forms you have access to view. You can assign permission on a form-by-form basis, or in bulk by clicking the Select all Forms button in the top-right corner.¬†
