Want to provide more reminders to students about their upcoming sessions? Is your event complex with multiple sessions/times? Don't want to create hundreds of workflows? Don't worry - you have come to the right article!

Detailed setup instructions

  • Navigate to your GeckoEngage event.
  • Select Workflows.
  • Click +Add new workflow.
  • Name your workflow (i.e 30-minute reminder)
  • Click into the condition {Event/Session is *Event Name} and update the Action from Equals to IS IN
  • Click Save Condition
  • Add in a condition for the Status (If you wish)
  • The updated workflow will have changed to Session/Time is in Event Name:
  • You now have the ability to decide when this workflow will run (Before Session or After session)
  • Sticking with the example above, we will be sending this out 30 minutes before the session start time. By clicking into 'Immediately' you can select "Before Event/Session Starts" and selecting your time period.
  • Complete rest of Actions as you would:

Workflow Result:

  • Jonny Urquhart was booked onto session "Welcome Talk" at 09:00 on Monday 24th December and booked onto session "Business Talk" at 16:00 on Monday 24th December
  • Jonny would receive email reminders at 12:30 for the Welcome Talk Session and 15:30 for the Business Talk, all through this one workflow!
