If you've logged in to Gecko and you're greeted with a blank page instead of the usual Overview screen, the chances are your browser cache will need resetting. 

Fortunately, this is a quick and easy fix that'll have you back up and running in little time at all! We've outlined how to reset your cache for a number of popular desktop browsers below:

Google Chrome

  • In the top right corner, click More (3 small circles in a vertical line).
  • Click More tools > Clear browsing data.
  • Select All Time.
  • Check the boxes for "Cookies and other site data" and "Cached images and files".
  • Click Clear data.
  • Finally, close and reopen your browser, then log in to Gecko.

Firefox

  • Click the menu button (three dashes in a vertical line) and select Preferences.
  • Select the Privacy & Security panel.
  • In the Cached Web Content section, click Clear Now
  • Finally, close and reopen your browser, then log in to Gecko.

Internet Explorer

  • Click the Tools (gear icon) button and select Safety.
  • Select Delete browsing history.
  • Be sure to include 'Cached images temporary Internet files' and 'Cookies' and hit Delete.
  • Finally, close and reopen your browser, then log in to Gecko.

  • Select Clear browsing data.
  • Be sure to include 'Cached images temporary Internet files' and 'Cookies' and hit Clear.

  • Click Safari and select Preferences.
  • Select the Advanced tab and check the box to Show Develop menu in menu bar.
  • In the Develop menu, click Clear Caches.
