The My Settings pages are some of the most useful on Gecko. From managing your password to form permissions and Capture app session monitoring - this guide will run you through this often overlooked area of Gecko.

Begin by clicking your name in the top-right corner of Gecko and selecting My Settings from the dropdown menu:

This will take you to your settings page for your personal account. If you wish to amend the settings for any other user, navigate to Settings > Users and click the user you'd like to edit. Note: only users with specific permissions are able to edit other users.

The options for My Settings are divided across three tabs:

  • Settings - here you're able to change your name, email, telephone position and user group. It's worth noting that all of the aforementioned values are template tag-able.  You are also able to manage your password. GeckoTalk users are able to configure their default calling capabilities.

  • Forms - this tab allows you to manage which active/ archived forms you have access to view. You can assign permission on a form-by-form basis, or in bulk by clicking the Select all Forms button in the top-right corner.

  • Device Logins - this tab gives you the ability to review your current/ historic logins with the Capture app. You'll see the date/ time your session started, as well as the end date/ time if applicable. Clicking the blue Actions button allows you to remotely end an active session.
