With your forms up to date on your device, we can now complete our first mobile form.
Let's go back to the main menu by tapping the back button on your device.
When on the main menu tap into our form by pressing on the form name.
From this screen, we can see our form ready to be filled. Let's enter some details and complete our first submission.
Congratulations, you’ve just submitted your first form. Now that you’ve completed the form and your responses are safely stored on your device we can take a look at it.
First, you will need to tap Admin in the top right-hand corner of your screen. From the admin screen, you will see responses at the bottom middle of the screen.
Tap on our new response and you will see the information you have just entered.
With these responses, you can add notes or labels and see the sync status of a response.
If you have no internet on your device the status bar on the left of a response will show orange. This means it is waiting to upload these responses. If you have an active internet connection and have enabled "Automatically sync responses to Gecko" from the settings of the app these will automatically upload at the same time you capture the response.
If after attempting to upload the responses the bar still shows orange, this means something has gone wrong with this upload you will need to either attempt to upload it again or contact support so we can help you further. You can do this directly from the app by pressing on "Contact support" to live chat with any member of our team.
If we did not have an active internet connection or we have "Automatically sync responses to Gecko" disabled we will need to manually upload these responses. Let's take a look at how to do that now.
Admin > Settings > upload responses
At this point, you have now successfully downloaded the app, saved your first response, reviewed it and uploaded it. Great job!
