We have recently released a new feature within the Gecko system that allows for a translated RSVP & Contact Portal page.

Supported Languages: English, Welsh, Catalan, Chinese, German & Spanish. If you would like to have more languages supported and assist with new translation; then please do get in touch with the Live Support team.

Getting started

Log in to Engage before navigating to Settings > Field Management > Contact Fields.
From there, select Preferred Language and set the language/s you want to have available to your students.

Once you have selected the language/s you'd like to use, hit Save. This will now be included in the Contact Field drop-down within any form.

RSVP Page

  • Add the Preferred Language field to your form and make updates like any other field (CRM linking/Required)

  • Link your form to a GeckoEvent

  • The Student can then submit the form with your chosen language and sign up for the event.

  • Once the form has been submitted; the student will now receive their RSVP ticket. With the new update, ALL calls to action will be translated into the students' chosen language.

Contact Portal

This feature is available within the Data and GDPR Management module.

  • Add the Preferred Language field to your form and make updates like any other field (CRM linking/Required)

  • In order to grant your contact access to their portal, simply include the following Template Tag your email/SMS workflow - {{contact.portal_url}}

  • This will dynamically generate a URL that is unique to each individual contact, meaning there is no risk of the wrong portal being sent to the wrong contact.

  • Submit form and view contact portal
