Once your form is built, it's time to share it with the world! Gecko gives you a range of unique ways to do this.

Begin by navigating to your form and clicking on the Share tab. Let's work our way down the page from top to bottom.

This area gives you access to the URL unique to your form. Note that clicking either the URL or the Open button (just below the link) will open your form in a new tab.

To make copying your form URL into any email or SMS templates simple, the Copy button will add the URL directly to your clipboard.

The QR Code button allows you to share your form using a range of types (Standard, Gecko, Snapchat and WeChat). Displaying these codes on any device at recruitment fairs is a great way to make your registration more interactive and help to alleviate any queues for devices running the Capture app. Students are able to bring the form up on their own mobile device by scanning the code with their camera.

Lastly, the Shorten button can be used to turn the webform link URL into a more condensed link. Gecko automatically applies the URL shortener when sending your form URL via SMS to help you keep your message character limit in check.

Captured at Event

Including event information in the Captured at Event fields will cause your form URL to subtly change. If a student submits a response to a form that has an event specified in the Captured at Event field, their response will include the name of the event, and the contact will be added to the event with the Attended status.

Prepopulate Form Fields

There are a huge number of reasons why you'd want to prepopulate your forms. Fortunately, Gecko supports allows you to pre-fill both simple and dynamic information.

Embed Your Form on a Website

One of the most popular methods of sharing forms is by embedding them on your website. There is no limit on the number of pages you can embed your form on. Gecko supports both javascript and iFrame webpage embeds.
