Gecko's Engagement score offers a novel way to track how engaged (or not, as the case may be!) a student is.
The Engagement score can be found on any individual contact field record, in the System field section. When a contact first gets created, this score is set to 0. This score is hidden from the student, but can be pulled into email/sms templates using the {{contact.engagement_score}}
template tag as needed.
The engagement score can be increased positively or negatively via any workflow across the platform, using the workflow action > Update a contact's engagement score. The value can be incremented positively to increase or negatively to reduce the contact's engagement score.
Gecko makes it easy to filter and search for students based on their current Engagement score. To get started, head to Contacts > Filter and use the Contact Field > Engagement Score field:
This search can be saved to used in broadcasts, exports or to add students to events!
