Radius by Anthology (née CampusManagement, née-née Hobsons) is a higher-ed focused CRM system used by institutions across the globe.
Engage
Creating a functional two-way API integration between Gecko and Radius is quickly achievable.
Integrating Engage with Radius
It takes about 2 minutes to create a functional integration between Radius and Gecko:
⚙️ Radius
Log in to Radius and click Setup
Go to Organisation Settings and click Web Services. Select New Web Service and create a new service
Note down the username ID and password of your newly created service
🦎 Gecko
Navigate to Settings > Integrations > + New Integration
Pick Radius as the type
Enter your web service username and password in the respective fields
Pick your region and click Save
Once your integration has been created, you'll be able to map fields between Gecko and Radius. In the video below, we showcase how this mapping works and how the integration look/functions:
Integrating forms/scripts
By syncing form/script responses, Gecko can create new contacts in Radius (or merge them into existing ones).
Gecko can push over:
Any details captured on the form
response meta information;
When the response was captured
UTM parameters
Student Geo-IP information
Capture app compatibility
who was logged in when the response was captured
which device was used
A record of any email/texts sent via form workflows (inc., the body of the message, sender name, subject lines, etc.)
You have complete autonomy over when a form response is synced and where the data in each field is pushed to.
Integrating events
Gecko can map to any existing Radius event or automatically build new events in Gecko whenever a new event gets created in Radius.
Once mapped, Gecko’s events integration with Radius is two-way (we can push attendee information from Gecko → Radius and pull from Radius → Gecko).
Gecko can:
Gecko can only sync top-level events to Radius Events and not sessions (Radius’ API prevents this, sadly!)
Gecko pushes attendee information directly into the event on Radius as Registration data
Gecko can push event attendee guest information to whichever field in Radius.
Integrating emails/texts
Texts or emails sent from Gecko automatically create a new Case on the student’s Contact Cases table. This occurs anytime a new message is sent in Gecko, and the contact is synced.
Gecko can push over:
Any desired Student details
The sender of the text/email (e.g., “Admissions - admissions@gecko-university.edu”)
The subject line of the email
The body of the text/email
The time/date the email was sent
The status of the email/text (i.e., clicked, opened, delivered)
Integrating calls
In addition to creating new contacts (or merging into existing ones), calls made in Gecko can automatically create a new Case on the contact’s Cases table in Radius.
Gecko can push over:
Call data (outcome, campaign name, caller name and call duration)
Any student details required
Importing from Radius into Engage
Contacts can be imported from Radius into Gecko via the Settings > Import data page. Imports make use of Radius' ‘Target List’ functionality. Target Lists are configured in the Marketing module of Radius.
Gecko will only import student data from fields/attributes mapped in the Settings > Integration > {Radius} page on Gecko.
Chat
Integrating Chat with Radius
Integrating conversations
In addition to being able to create new contacts (or merge into existing ones), Gecko Chat conversations automatically create a new Case in Radius for the student. These updates to Radius are triggered by the Chat conversation being closed.
Gecko automatically pushes over:
Student data
The transcript of the chat conversation creates a new Case on the Contact’s Cases table
Conversation metadata;
When the conversation took place
Which channel the conversation took place
Which agents/bots (if any) were involved
Any internal notes/workflows that were triggered during the conversation
Importing contacts from Radius into Chat
You can import contacts from Radius into Chat by making use of Radius’ Marketing Target Lists. Target Lists are configured in the Marketing module of Radius.
Once a Target List has been selected on the Settings > Integration > Radius page, Chat will import all contacts within that Target List. Chat only imports data into contact fields that have been mapped between the two systems.
