Event hosts can be added to any event to give your attendees visibility over who will be presenting/speaking/running the event or session. Your events can also use Google Maps to provide seamless directions on where events and sessions are taking place.

Event hosts

Hosts are visible to students when using the event field on a form, the event share page, or when viewing an RSVP page.

New hosts can be created/edited/deleted on the Events > Hosts page. Assigning a host to your event or session is easy but differs slightly by event type:

  • Single Event - Click into your event and go to Edit > Styling, and use the Event hosts field. New hosts can be created in-line on this page!

  • Sessions - Click to edit your session and go to Details > Hosts. New hosts can be created-in line with this modal.

You can provide names, titles, email addresses, biographies, headshots, and website/social media links when creating hosts.

Event locations

Locations are visible to students when using the event field on a form, the event share page or when viewing their RSVP page.

For obvious reasons, this functionality is only available when creating in-person/venue-based events!

Locations can be created/edited/deleted on the Events > Locations page. Creating a location lets you look up a location using Google Maps and place a pin on the map. Once saved, written address details can be fully customized.

Assigning locations to your event or session is easy but differs slightly by event type:

  • Single Event - Click into your event and go to Edit > Location, and use the Venue Address field. New locations can be created in-line on this page!

  • Sessions - Click into your session and click the Location card. New locations can be created in-line with this modal.

Locations can be pulled into email/text messages using the {{event.location}} template tag.
